CRANES AND HOISTS
Lifting equipment from 250 pounds to 100 tons.
Overhead bridge cranes, Yale wire rope and chain hoists, Gorbel workstation and jib cranes, and TC/American monorail. Engineered, installed, load tested, and inspected on a schedule.

OVERHEAD CRANES
Top running and underhung, single and double girder.
Structural or patented track construction, sized to duty cycle rather than to peak load alone. Runways get evaluated, aligned, and leveled before anything is hung on them.
- Capacities from 1/8 ton to 100 ton
- Bridge spans from 6 feet to 200 feet
- Runway lengths from 10 feet to 3,000 feet
- Service Class C through Class E
- Classified area and spark resistant construction available
- Multiple bridges on a single runway
- Collision avoidance systems
- ASCE runway rail and enclosed track
YALE WIRE ROPE HOISTS
Global King and Cable King.
Triple reduction gearing running in an oil bath inside a cast aluminum gear case, a machined steel rope drum with deep grooves, and a bearing-mounted trunnion hook that rotates a full 360 degrees. Two-speed motors at a 4:1 ratio as standard.
- Global King monorail hoist and trolley: 1 to 15 ton, lifts 20 to 40 feet, 18/4.5 to 24/6 FPM
- Cable King monorail hoist: 1/2 to 35 ton, lifts 16 to 256 feet, 8 to 68 FPM, Weston screw-type load brake
- Global King top running trolley and deck mount: 5 to 25 ton, lifts 16 ft 8 in to 40 feet, 12/3 to 20/5 FPM, NEMA 4/12 enclosure
- One-piece welded steel frame, upper and lower motion limit switches
- Monorail, base mount, deck mount, and top running configurations, ASME compliant
- Air operated, spark resistant, and explosion proof versions for hot metal, marine, and offshore duty

CHAIN HOISTS
Yale, Budgit, and CM electric and hand chain.
Multiple-disc motor brakes, mechanical overload protection, adjustable limit switches, and oil-bath gearing. Available in single or three phase across the voltages a plant actually has.
- Yale KELC electric chain hoist: 1/4 to 3 ton, 4 to 64 FPM
- Yale YJL and YJL-V: 1/4 to 2 ton, 8 to 32 FPM
- Yale XL and CM XL: 2 to 7.5 ton, 6 to 30 FPM
- Power: 115/230V single phase; 208, 230/460, and 575V three phase; 50 and 60 Hz
- Standards: ASME/ANSI B30.16, CSA certified, ISO certified, NEC compliant, H-4 heavy duty rating
- NEMA 3R and 4X enclosures, hook or lug suspension, manual and motorized trolleys
- Hand chain hoists from 1/4 to 50 ton with through-hardened load chain, mechanical load brake, and 360 degree swivel hooks with safety latches
- Close headroom trolleys, chain containers, and short radius curve models
GORBEL
Workstation cranes and jib cranes.
Where the load is light and the cycle is constant, an ergonomic workstation crane moves more parts per shift than an overhead bridge and costs less to install. Aluminum bridges and enclosed track keep the push force low and the running surface clean.
- Free standing and ceiling mounted workstation bridge cranes: 250 to 4,000 lbs, bridge lengths 4 to 34 feet
- Modular design, multiple bridges on one runway, tractor drives available
- Workstation jib cranes: enclosed track boom, tapered roller pivot bearings, portable forklift-movable bases
- Many workstation models mount on 6 inch reinforced concrete
- Structural and floor mounted jib cranes: 1/4 ton to 5 ton, heights and spans to 20 feet
- Articulating jib cranes: 150 to 2,000 lbs, spans to 16 feet, for moving loads around corners and into confined areas
- Wall cantilever jibs where the wall or building columns are structurally adequate

TC/AMERICAN
Patented track monorail and underhung systems.
Patented flat tread rail in high carbon alloy steel, with an articulating trolley that distributes load evenly across the wheels. That is what stops the wheel rocking and the rail wear you see on older systems as loads shift.
- 200 Series, 2.00 inch rail: to 2 tons
- 325 Series, 3.25 inch rail: 20 tons and above
- 400 Series, 4.00 inch rail: compatible with legacy 4 inch systems
- 450 Series, 4.50 inch rail: to 40 tons
- Underhung cranes, stacker cranes, and monorail systems
- Curved rail sections and switches for routing trolleys, tractors, and hoists
- Hand propelled, gravity, or motor driven
- Modular and expandable as the plant layout changes
Installation and modernization
New equipment and used equipment, plus the work that keeps an existing system in service past the point where the original manufacturer stopped answering the phone.
Installation
- Turnkey installation and project management
- Runways, runway rail, and electrification
- Start-up, testing, and test weights
- Removal and disposal of existing cranes and equipment
Modernization
- Crane re-spans and capacity evaluation
- Control upgrades and system automation
- Brake and light retrofits
- Runway electrification modernization
- Load testing and certification

Send the runway dimensions and the duty cycle.
Span, hook height, capacity, lifts per hour, and what the building steel will actually carry. Those five numbers decide the machine.
